Homemade High-Protein Granola

I absolutely LOVE me some granola. I eat it on top of yogurt, or with milk or just by the handful!

However, I have found almost all the store bought kind are LOADED with fat, sugar and calories and really offer NO nutritional value.

It is super simple to whip up some at home and I use healthy ingredients to boost the nutritional value while still delivering that salty, sweet, and crunchy snack I crave!


  1. Oats

  2. Chia seeds

  3. Hemp seeds

  4. Almonds (or any other kind of nut you enjoy!)

  5. Maple syrup

  6. Coconut oil


  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix.

  2. Melt coconut oil (I usually just pop in microwave in 30 second increments until melted)

  3. Add maple syrup and vanilla to coconut oil and mix.

  4. Pour the maple syrup/coconut oil mixture over dry ingredients and stir thoroughly until completely covered. You want to be sure the mixture is pretty moist.

  5. Spread out onto a foil or parchment lined pan and pop in 350F oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. Let cool then store in air tight container!
